Merlin George
Merlin’s journey began in the world of enterprise technology, starting as a Technical Associate Engineer at IBM, where she worked across complex systems, troubleshooting, and global-scale infrastructure support. She later transitioned into full-stack development, building robust applications, leading product engineering, and shaping digital experiences for real users. These roles strengthened her technical versatility and exposed her to the realities faced by underserved communities, newcomers, and individuals navigating difficult transitions.
In 2025, driven by a mission to build solutions that uplift people during their hardest moments, she founded Another Dream. Her work now spans product innovation, platform engineering, user experience design, and long-term strategic development. Under her leadership, Another Dream is growing into a leader in community-empowerment technology. Merlin is passionate about the visible impact created when people receive support at the exact moment they need it, the opportunities unlocked through technology, and the “Another Dream Effect” — the belief that meaningful change becomes possible when compassion, innovation and collective action move together.
